Women were Egyptologists, but did they really excavate in the Valley of the Kings around the turn of the 20th century? Dr. Kathleen Sheppard thinks so! In this brief presentation to the Kelsey Museum, she will talk about the exciting and sometimes dangerous work women were doing on excavation in the early days of Egyptology.
